Important Notice – These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and ShortShop Inc. ("ShortShop" "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the ShortShop website, web application, application‑programming interface (API), plug‑ins, and any related software, tools, or documentation (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, clicking "I agree," or otherwise accessing or using the Service you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity, and "you" will refer to such entity.
When registering you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep that information updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your password, API keys, and other credentials and for all activity under your account.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or to protect the security or integrity of the Service.

---|---|
"User Content" | All data, files, text, images, audio, and video that you upload or otherwise submit to the Service. |
"Generated Content" | Images, videos, audio, text, or other materials that the Service creates—in whole or in part—via artificial‑intelligence or other programmatic processes at your direction (including "AI influencers"). |
"Output Files" | The final rendered advertisement files stored in our Amazon S3 buckets. |
"ShortShop Materials" | The Service itself—including underlying code, models, user interface, documentation, and branding—and any improvements or derivative works. |
"Prohibited Content" | Content described in Section 6 that is not permitted on or through the Service. |
ShortShop is an online creative platform that allows Users to (i) upload User Content, (ii) generate influencers and other marketing assets using AI models, (iii) render advertisements incorporating such assets, and (iv) store and download resulting Output Files. We presently run render jobs via Trigger.dev workflows that execute Remotion in a shared runtime environment.
No Service‑Level Agreement (SLA). The Service is provided "as is" with no uptime guarantee and may experience delays or interruptions.
We retain all right, title, and interest in the ShortShop Materials. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, revocable, non‑transferable licence to access and use the Service for your internal business or personal purposes.
You retain all ownership rights in User Content. You grant ShortShop a worldwide, royalty‑free, non‑exclusive licence to host, store, cache, copy, display, perform, transmit, transform, and otherwise process User Content solely as necessary to provide and improve the Service.
Subject to your payment of all applicable fees, ShortShop assigns to you any intellectual‑property rights we may have in the Generated Content and the Output Files, except that (a) such assignment extends only to the original portions created by the Service and not to any third‑party content incorporated therein, and (b) you grant ShortShop a limited licence to store Output Files and display them to your account for as long as they remain on the Service.
If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant ShortShop a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty‑free right to use that feedback for any purpose without obligation to you.
You agree not to use the Service to create, upload, or distribute:
We reserve the right—but not the obligation—to review, disable access to, or delete content that we believe violates this AUP.
ShortShop does not employ automated abuse‑detection or rate‑limiting at this time. You remain solely responsible for your content.
If you believe content on the Service violates these Terms, please email legal@short.shop. We will investigate and take appropriate action at our discretion.
ShortShop complies with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Our designated agent for notices of claimed infringement is listed in Section 19.
Output Files and User Content are stored in multi‑tenant Amazon S3 buckets without per‑tenant data isolation guarantees and may be retained indefinitely.
Self‑service deletion is not currently available. We will endeavour to honour deletion requests submitted to support@short.shop, subject to (i) technical feasibility, (ii) our backup‑storage cycle, and (iii) legal obligations.
Deleted items may persist in encrypted backups for up to ninety (90) days.
Our data‑handling practices are described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
We use encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+ across public networks) and server‑side encryption at rest for data stored in AWS S3. We operate on a least‑privilege AWS IAM basis but do not guarantee data segregation from other customers.
No method of transmission or storage is 100 % secure; we cannot guarantee that unauthorised third parties will never defeat our safeguards.
The Service may depend on or integrate with third‑party platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Trigger.dev, TikTok). ShortShop does not control and is not responsible for any third‑party services. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms.
You agree to pay all fees described at the time of purchase or as otherwise posted on the Service. All payments are non‑refundable except as required by law. We may change pricing on thirty (30) days' notice.
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on the Service or sent to the email associated with your account. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
These Terms remain in effect until terminated.
You may delete your account at any time by emailing support@short.shop.
We may suspend or terminate the Service or your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
Upon termination your licences cease; Sections 4.3, 4.4, 6, 7, 8, 12.4, 13–18 survive.
THE SERVICE, OUTPUT FILES, AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. ShortShop disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non‑infringement, and that the Service or Output Files are error‑free, accurate, or will meet your requirements.
Generated Content may contain inaccuracies, bias, or legal issues. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating all Output Files before publishing or relying on them.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHORTSHOP WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE.
ShortShop's total cumulative liability for direct damages will not exceed the greater of (i) US $100 or (ii) the fees you paid ShortShop in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability.
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ShortShop and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, lawsuit, or proceeding arising out of or related to (a) your User Content, Generated Content, or Output Files, (b) your breach of these Terms, or (c) your violation of applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding conflict‑of‑law rules.
Before filing a claim, each party agrees to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by emailing the other party. If not resolved within thirty (30) days, either party may initiate arbitration.
Any dispute arising under these Terms will be finally settled by binding arbitration administered by JAMS in accordance with its Streamlined Rules. The arbitration will be conducted in New York County, New York, in English. Class‑action and jury‑trial waivers apply.
Either party may bring an individual action in small‑claims court.
